I'm not sure where they came from, actually... You can find them all over. They use holograms to manage their stores on other worlds, I guess they just didn't have anybody to sell to here.

Yeah, they could be really useful. Once you made friends with the moogles, they'd show you more and more powerful ones to buy too.
